There are two ways to get to the Ape Atoll Agility Course. Here's a map with routes.

How to get to Ape Atoll

Route 1
This is the road you probably remember from the Monkey Madness quest. Go to the Grand Tree's 1st floor (with the banks) and go to the eastern side.
Speak with Daero and go to the Glider Hangar. Speak with the Waydar to fly to Crash Island. And then speak with Lumdo to travel to Ape Atoll.
After this just follow the red route.

Route 2
The Awowogei part from Recipe for Disaster has to be finished to use this route, you'll also need 64 Magic as well
Take a banana, 2 law runes, 2 fire runes and 2 water runes and teleport to the Ape Atoll temple, follow the blue route.

Facts for a road to 99
Fact 1.
Even if you play 6 hrs a day it will take around at least ONE month to get to 99.

If you spend your whole life to train, you may get it for 3 weeks, but basically people have real life and many interruptions come to you, it will make you take at least 1 month even you train agility all the time when you play RS.

Fact 2.
If you are in lv 60's 70's....you may give up the training pretty quick. It is too early for you to decide to go for 99. More than half people who committed going for 99 in 60's or 70's are quitting after one week. Don't try to force yourself too hard until you get 80's.

Fact 3: Jinxes!

Your first Jinx is coming when you get lv 85-88. You just feel too bored to continue. Many people quit or take long break after this lv.

Second Jinx - Lv 93....many people have a long break after this lv. We don't know why. But half of people who reached lv 93 just leave and don't come back. You have to expect what you are going through...........this is one big fact. Face it. Prepare for it.
(93 is most chance of Jinx but will depend on the person, it will happen any lv between 93-98 actually.)

fact 4 - Time Fact

It is totally depends on how fast you reach lv 92. If you get 92 faster, 99 will be coming after a month. But if you take longer to get 92...you will take almost same amount of time to reach 99.

6. Tips & Tricks

  1. Cakes and tunas are THE food for Agility! Make sure you get those! They aren't expensive and heal enough.

  2. Keep your hp low, below 20 HP. If you have little HP you won't get hit as hard as you would with full HP.

  3. At lower levels you won't have to leave Ape Atoll to restock on food. Take a knife with you and pick and cut pineapples from all over Ape Atoll!
You can also not take any food at all, and just live on the pineapple rings to save weight.

  4. You might want to bring an Anti poison potion in case you get posioned by the Scorpion. They are non aggressive when you are monkey though.

  5. Make your Agility experience even more enjoyable by joining W46 Ape Atoll Agility Team! More info can be found on this site!

  6. Use the vine trick to max out your lap times, as soon as you're in the air on the swinging rope click on the vine tree for a speed boost!

  7. Try to race with others, this method will speed you up significantly and makes the course even more enjoyable.

  8. You can sell noted Energy Potions to the General Store and buy them back unnoted. Don't forget to take extra cash and your M'Speak Amulet though!
